Built on Trust, Driven by Expertise

Back in 1996, Pete Martel opened Martel Automotive with a vision of creating something different from the dealership experience. He believed customers deserved honest answers, quality repairs, fair pricing, and a mechanic who genuinely cared about the people behind the steering wheel. While dealerships often treated customers like a number on a work order, Pete wanted every person who walked through the door to feel like family. That commitment to integrity, craftsmanship, and customer service became the foundation of Martel Automotive and continues to guide us today.



Over the last three decades, Martel Automotive has become a trusted name throughout Belleview and Marion County. Our customers consistently describe us as honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and dependable. Today, Pete's legacy continues through his son, Sam. Growing up around the shop, Sam learned early that automotive repair is not just about fixing vehicles. It is about taking care of people. He watched his father spend countless hours diagnosing problems correctly, standing behind his work, and always putting the customer's best interest first. Those values shaped Sam into the technician and leader he is today.

As the next generation of Martel Automotive, Sam brings the same passion, work ethic, and commitment to excellence that Pete built the company on nearly 30 years ago. While vehicle technology has evolved dramatically, our philosophy has remained unchanged: diagnose it correctly, repair it properly, and treat every customer with honesty and respect.
